to the Major William Lauderdale Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR).  We are located in South Florida west of Fort Lauderdale in Plantation.  However, we have members from throughout Broward County, including Coral Springs, Sunrise, Tamarac, Pembroke Pines, Cooper City, Davie, Weston, and Fort Lauderdale.  We were organized on December 3, 1976, and we are named for Major William Lauderdale who served in the Tennessee militia.

Chapter meetings are usually held on the second Saturday of the month from October to May.  Guests are welcome!  Please contact us at for membership requirements and specific meeting information.
